Time: You will receive your Graduation Pack on the 19th January, 2024 which will include your exact conferral time. Your Graduation Pack will be sent to the email which you registered with. If your e-mail has changed, please update your details via IOB Learn in advance of the 19th January, 2024.

How long does the ceremony last? Conferring ceremonies usually last about 90 minutes.
Can I postpone my conferring? No, it is not possible to postpone your conferring. All degrees must be conferred at the conferring ceremony designated for your award.
What happens if I cannot attend my conferring ceremony? If you cannot attend your conferring ceremony, your degree will be conferred in absentia. Your parchment will be posted to you in the weeks following the ceremony in April 2024.
Is there access for people with additional needs? Yes. O'Reilly Hall and the other University buildings are accessible by wheelchair. If a graduand, or a guest, has special needs please do not hesitate to contact [email protected] so we may ensure your comfort and enjoyment of the ceremony.
Robes and Photography Details to book your robes and photography will be included in your graduation pack which you will receive in your Gradation Pack on the week commencing 22nd January, 2024. Cost of your robe: 45 euro directly to Phelan Conan Ireland's largest graduation gown company - Phelan Conan Ltd. (full details will be available as part of your Graduation Pack). Tickets Where can I get tickets? Tickets are available, free of charge, from Eventbrite and sales are closing on the 11th December, 2023.
Guest Tickets Graduands are entitled to two guest tickets via Eventbrite.
Can I get additional Guest Tickets? Due to space restrictions in O’Reilly Hall, for now there are no additional tickets available. This will be reviewed after the 19th January, 2023. Please contact [email protected] after this date and will be able to advise if extra tickets are available (Note: there is no guarantee that additional tickets will become available).
