Join IOB and Dr Gerry Grenham for a programme information session covering the Professional Certificate and Diploma in Compliance leading to the LCI designation.

The Professional Certificate and Diploma in Compliance is a level 7 qualification and is considered to be the benchmark qualification for compliance professionals.

This programme is aimed at those who work or aspire to work in a professional capacity within a compliance function in financial services and is designed to enhance skills, judgement and ability to deal with practical issues in the management and practice of compliance in the financial services industry.

The Professional Certificate in Compliance is eligible for 50% Funding

The Higher Education Authority (HEA) is pleased to announce the launch of the Micro-Credentials Learner Fee Subsidy and IOB is delighted to confirm that the Professional Certificate in Compliance has been approved for funding under the Human Capital Initiative Pillar 3.

Registration for this event will close at midnight the night prior to the event or when it reaches capacity.

There is 0.5 CPD hours available for the following designations:

Dr Gerry Grenham is former Head of Postgraduate Programmes and currently Senior Academic Consultant at IOB. His experience covers all aspects of IOB educational programmes, with particular emphasis at the postgraduate level. He has knowledge of the full suite of IOB's UCD accredited programmes and can offer guidance regarding the most appropriate programme to support your career progression, while availing of the substantial government funding available to support the relevant programmes from the IOB programmes suite.

Fiona Lawlor

Head of Risk, St. Canice's Credit Union

Fiona has over 25+ years’ experience in financial services across the areas of Compliance, Risk, Corporate Governance, Senior Leadership, Regulatory Relationship Management, Outsourcing, Legal, Data Protection and Anti-Money Laundering.

She has held various PCF roles approved by the Central Bank under the Fitness & Probity regime and has experience of working within start-up environments and established entities, in both corporate and not for profit sectors. She holds a B.Comm in Accounting from U.C.D., a Professional Diploma in Compliance from IOB/Compliance Institute and a Risk Management qualification.

Fiona has also attained a Diploma in Corporate Governance for Directors, along with certifications in ESG and Digital Transformation from the Corporate Governance Institute.
