The IOB Funds and Asset Management Limerick Forum will feature an update on the Fund Sector 2030 Review by Brian Corr, Head of Funds Review, Department of Finance.
We will also be joined by Darragh Rossi, Head of Division for the Funds Supervision Division in the Central Bank of Ireland and Colm Mc Donagh CEO of Insight Investment Management (Europe) Limited and Chair of Irish Funds.
Topics for discussion include factors currently impacting, or likely to impact the funds and asset management sector in the future and it promises to be a very informative session. The IOB Funds and Asset Management Limerick Forum will bring together financial services professionals for a morning of networking and discussions on the latest regulatory and industry trends.

Brian Corr
Head of Funds Review, Department of Finance
Brian joined the Department of Finance in 2011 and was most recently Head of Credit Union Policy from 2017 to end March 2023. He led the Programme for Government credit union policy review process, which was completed during 2022.
Prior to that Brian managed a variety of strategic projects and corporate finance transactions arising from the recapitalisation and restructuring of the Irish banking system including the re-IPO of Permanent TSB in 2015 and the €1.3bn sale of Irish Life to Great-West Lifeco in 2013. Brian led the Government contingency plan for Brexit for the financial services sector.
Before joining the Department of Finance Brian worked with Davy Corporate Finance and Deloitte Corporate Finance and qualified as an accountant with Horwath Bastow Charleton. Brian is also a Certified Bank Director.
Darragh Rossi
Head of Division for the Funds Supervision Division in the Central Bank of Ireland
Darragh joined the Central Bank in January 2019 from UBS Investment Bank, having previously held senior roles in both UBS and Goldman Sachs. Darragh is currently Head of Division for the Funds Supervision Division.
Since joining the Bank, Darragh has held the role of Senior Advisor in the Asset Management and Investment Banking Division and was Acting Director of Securities and Markets Supervision Division in Q4 2021.
He currently sits on ESMA’s Risk Standing Committee and IOSCO’s Committee on Emerging Risks. Darragh is a qualified accountant having completed his training in KMPG, Dublin.
Colm Mc Donagh
Chief Executive Officer, Insight Investment Management (Europe) Limited
Colm is CEO of Insight Investment Management (Europe) Limited, Insight’s EU-domiciled entity headquartered in Dublin, since December 2020.
He joined Insight in 2008 as Head of Emerging Market Fixed Income, responsible for the investment team and product across Europe, Asia and North America.
He is a senior member of the global investment management team, the global research macro group, and Chair of Insight’s Sovereign ESG group. Prior to joining Insight, he had various investment roles including partner at Hydra Capital, and Head of EM Debt at Aberdeen Asset Management.
He started his career in London at Bank of America in 1996. Colm obtained his Bachelor of Business and Legal Studies degree from University College Dublin. He is currently serving as Chair of Irish Funds Industry Association.
