Gina is a qualified accountant and at the start of her career worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in audit, later working for Deloitte in audit and specialising in investment management. Her accounting career to date spans over 25 years and after 10 years in audit, she went on to work for BlackRock Investment Management in London for several years as Director in charge of BlackRock’s Fund Financial Reporting function for Europe, supervising teams in London and Dublin, and responsible for the audits, financial reporting and accounting standards application for over 600 fund structures including hedge funds, ETFs, unit trusts and fund companies in multiple jurisdictions.
In 2015 Gina founded Anumerate, a UK firm of accountants and consultants, with a niche specialism in financial services and investment management. Anumerate provides accounting and tax services to a wide range of clients including established group structures, fund companies and smaller companies. In addition, Anumerate’s services include onshore/offshore directorships, a wide range of specialist accounting and taxation services and outsourced solutions, including whitelabel service offerings to other accountancy firms, and accounting services to international conglomerates with UK business interests who need assistance and representation in the UK.
She currently holds independent, non-executive directorships within the investment management industry including a UK company which invests across Europe, a fund management company and offshore fund structures.
Gina has an Honours degree in Accounting Science and is a Fellow of the global Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She completed the Fintech Programme at Said Business School, Oxford University and sits on the Financial Services Panel for her accounting body, the ACCA.
