An accreditation request form must be submitted for approval for all CPD events held externally to The Institute of Banking e.g. required for all in-company training and events attended outside of the Institute.
We will review the event in line with the criteria for CPD accreditation and revert within 15 working days. Please note this may take longer in the month of December. Members are required to submit requests prior to the event where possible. Applicants may be requested to supply a copy of the course material e.g. slides, course outline, syllabus, agenda.
Please note events must be approved for CPD hours in each calendar year. Events should be re-submitted if running in a new CPD year.

We may disclose information about events to our trusted education partners and/or their representatives e.g. LIA, Insurance Institute, ACOI etc. for joint accreditation or relevancy of event purposes.
If an event has already been approved for CPD hours by LIA or the Insurance Institute (III) please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the LIA/III confirmation of accreditation letter and we will revert with our reference number.
