About the event
Helena's presentation will focus on the Central Bank's enhanced Consumer Protection Risk Assessment Model, with a particular emphasis on culture.
Helena Mitchell is the Head of Consumer Protection: Supervision Division in the Central Bank of Ireland. She has over 25 years’ experience in Central Banking/Financial Regulation and has held a number of senior roles in both consumer protection and prudential supervision. Helena also worked in the European Central Bank in Frankfurt for a number of years, on a secondment to its Internal Finance Directorate. Helena holds the Diploma in Corporate Governance from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, is a Chartered Banker and a Licentiate of the Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland (LCOI). She also holds a number of other qualifications from the Institute of Banking.
This event is accredited for 1 hour relevant to Ethics for QFAs, APAs, Grandfathers, Registered Stockbrokers, Professional Bankers, Chartered Bankers, Personal Insolvency Practitioners, LCOIs, FCOIs, CFCPPs, and CDPOs.
