Rob is currently Head of SME for AIB.  Rob began his career as a graduate with AIB in 2002 where he joined the Banks mortgage lending team. In 2006 he took up the role of Lending Manager at the Banks Commercial Banking Department where he managed a central team of credit underwriters supporting the SME market.

Rob took up the post of Commercial Lending Manager for the Dublin South region in 2009 where he drove the new business agenda, establishing valuable customer and key stakeholder relationships across a broad range of sectors. After successfully holding various credit related management roles between 2010 and 2012 Rob was appointed to the position of Head of Dublin South Business Centre in January 2013. In this role Rob had responsibility for the management and growth of a significant portion of the Bank’s SME loan book. Prior to his current role, Rob was Head of Business Performance in AIB Business Banking, where he was responsible for driving excellence in delivering a superior customer experience across the SME segment.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from GMIT and a Fellowship from the Institute of Banking.
